Service Description
Do you want your child to earn scholarships and get into a college or university that is perfect for them? As a former high school teacher, I helped numerous students with their college applications. I am proud to say that the students I worked with earned scholarships and were accepted into multiple schools. For your child to have the best chance of getting into their dream school and being awarded a major scholarship, it is best to build a roadmap starting today. The 10th and 11th grade package focuses on building a strong transcript, resume, and profile. This plan will help your child stay ahead of deadlines and confidently take the next steps towards their college dreams. Standard Package Includes: • Academic course planning (AP/IB/Honors balance based on major) • Extracurricular and leadership guidance to build a strong application • SAT/ACT preparation plan and timeline • Career pathway and major exploration based on interests/strengths • Summer program/internship selection • Resume creation • Tips on how to ask for recommendation letters • Introduction to writing college essays • Create a balanced (reach, target, and safety) college list Deluxe Package Includes: • Academic course planning (AP/IB/Honors balance based on major and dream school) and recommendations for senior year • Extracurricular and leadership mentoring to build a standout profile • SAT/ACT timeline, study plan, and resources • Career pathway and major exploration based on interests/strengths • Passion Project guidance and support to build an exceptional application • Summer program/internship selection and application assistance (essay support and interview prep) • Resume creation and editing for internships, summer programs, and/or research opportunities • Tips on how to ask for recommendation letters and who to ask • Early Preparation: Introduction to writing college essays and personal statement brainstorming • Develop a comprehensive college list based on major and matching the student with an environment they will thrive in • Financial aid and scholarship application assistance (help with finding scholarships, writing essays, and interview prep) This program can be completed online or in-person at one of the designated public locations in Crawford, Fort Valley, Macon, Perry, or Warner Robins. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations (24 Hour Notice): There is NO CHARGE for the first missed session (one per calendar year). Scheduled sessions must be canceled a minimum of 24 hours in advance. If notice is received with less than a day’s notice but more than 4 hours' notice, a ½ session will be charged. A full session will be charged if notice has not been received within 4 hours of the scheduled session. I will make every effort to make it on time for scheduled sessions, but fair is fair. Should I not cancel within 24 hours, you will be credited the same as above. Credits will go towards the next session.
